10 Freelance Job Sites For Filipino Freelancers

Freelancers are continuously in the look out for opportunities and potential business. To many of us who've been getting their freelance gigs from Upwork, admit it, many are disappointed with the new policies and practices that are rolled out. When companies--whether that is in a corporate setting or in the freelance world--start to lose that certain culture we got acquainted into at the very beginning, our interest slowly decline. Though that doesn't necessarily mean we are giving it up, it's either we adapt or we find ways of releasing most of our energy and effort to something worthwhile.

Recently, I find myself spending more time looking at other freelance job sites and among other sites that I would uncover opportunities. I am still with Upwork though, I still have several contracts with the platform. Never did I planned to end my relationship with the site. It is where I started and I believe that as long as it is giving me opportunities, I will never cut my ties.

Most of these sites allows you to post your profile and let you search for freelance opportunities.

LinkedIn may not be a freelance job sites but this is really worth mentioning on top of the list.

You don't need to have a premium account to find jobs on this social media site. You can look for some freelance gigs through their job search function or let recruiters find you. Having a complete profile helps companies find your profile and improve your searchability.

5.  Craigslist

Craigslist is not a freelance job site either but this online classified ad site provide a whole section for jobs. Entrepreneurs and small-sized businesses, both local and international, post their needs for virtual assistance or freelancers.

6.  Jobstreet

If you've experience hunting jobs, I am sure that you know LiNa, she can be quite persistent in sending you job matches. This popular job site in the Philippines also post freelance, part-time and consulting jobs. 

You'll be seeing a lot of posts mostly from 51Talk looking for online teachers. But if you don't love teaching, there are other home-based or remote jobs that might piqued your interest.

7.   OnlineJobs.ph

This online freelance marketplace is for finding and hiring Filipino virtual assistants and employees. It is founded by John Jonas in Utah who started working home in 2004 and realized the ease of working with Filipino freelancers in 2006.

8.   Remote Staff
